Visit to yosemite national park

Distance to Yosemite from San Francisco is 179 miles and 3 hours by car driving.  The worst time to leave SF is on a weekday afternoon, as you will hit coming-home commute traffic out to the suburbs. The worst time to return to SF is late on a Sunday afternoon, since everyone is coming back from their weekend holidays.
